Create and execute a comprehensive wedding day timeline
Ongoing email and text correspondence to prepare for the day
Coordinate your ceremony rehearsal with the officiant
Final detail check for décor, special plans, and logistics

Provide instructions for hosts, ushers, and wedding party attendants
Facilitate the processional (family, wedding party, and you down the aisle)
Ensure you do not see each other or a parent before first looks
Assist in pinning boutonnieres and distributing floral

Coordinate grand entrance with DJ or emcee
Assist and cue the cake cutting, toasts, and special dances
Check that all special songs/playlists are ready with the DJ/Band/Emcee
Lighting and extinguishing of any ceremony and reception candles
Transport small items to and from the ceremony and reception

Be the point person for all vendor communication during the wedding weekend
Answer any and all questions vendors have day of
Ensure all vendors receive final payments and gratuities
Work with the venue and vendors to ensure clean-up goes smoothly

Assist photographers and videographers with staging, shot list, and family coordination
Ensure that items from detail photos get back where they need to go

Set up programs, escort cards, place cards, photos, menu cards, guest book, cake cutting utensils, champagne flutes, signage, and other simple décor
Assist in setup with friends, family, and vendors

Be the point person for any problems that arise during the wedding weekend
Bring a wedding emergency kit for last-minute fixes
Provide wedding binders for the day, including timelines, packing lists, and contact information
Keep you and your partner fed and hydrated throughout the wedding day

Assist family and friends with tear-down ensuring we are out of the venue at the prearranged time
Collect and deliver gifts and keepsakes to a pre-arranged location
